What MoneyVest stores, and what it deliberately does not.

What we collect
MoneyVest does not have user accounts and does not ask for your name, email, or payment details. The only identifier the site creates is a random key generated in your browser so the watchlist feature can sync your saved symbols with our backend.
Local storage
That random key is stored in your browser's local storage under the name moneyvest:owner-key. It is not linked to any personal information, is never sent to third parties, and is only used to look up your watchlist rows. Clearing your browser storage removes it and starts a fresh, empty watchlist.
Third-party market data
Quotes, charts, and news on MoneyVest are sourced from third-party providers such as Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, and Financial Modeling Prep. Requests for that data are made from our backend, not directly from your browser, so those providers do not receive your IP address or browsing activity.
No tracking or advertising
We do not run advertising, do not use tracking pixels, and do not sell data to third parties. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing beyond the watchlist key described above is collected.
Changes to this policy
If how MoneyVest handles data changes, this page will be updated with a new date at the top.
